When is the Last Day?

Video: Revelation Q & A: How Close are we to the Last Day?

To answer this question first we must know what “last day” we are speaking about… there are several:

  1. The return of Jesus.

  2. The end of this world.

  3. The Rapture.

Let’s define these in scripture and place them within Daniel’s week so that we have a starting point to see how close we are to the last day.

  1. Jesus Returns

And after these things I saw another angel… (Revelation 18:1 AKJV)
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness, He does judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
And He was clothed with a clothing dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in Heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His clothing and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. (Revelation 19:11-16 AKJV)

The Book of Revelation is in chronological order, mostly. Where it goes back to a previous time, it clearly shows that within the text. In chapter 18 it says, “After these things…” and continues speaking about events until we see the appearance of Jesus in chapter 19. This means Jesus’ return happens after the bowls of wrath which are mentioned in chapter 16.

Here in chapter 19, it says the Lord “treads the wine press of the fierceness of wrath” showing that He is walking where the wrath has occurred: the last bowl of wrath has been poured out and He takes his rightful place as ruler. Not only does Jesus return, but He brings with Him an army from Heaven.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the middle of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; That you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. (Revelation 19:17-19 AKJV)

Just as it was last time, so it is at the Second Coming of Jesus: the world rulers don’t want to give their power to Him so they gather to attack Him. Some refer to this battle as the “Last Day.” It will occur after the seven-year period that is Daniel’s Week which some call the Tribulation, and after the bowls of wrath.

To understand why there is a five-year period after Daniel’s Week before we can begin to expect the return of the Lord, please see the messages 70 Weeks of Years and the Tribulation and the second video: the Feast of Israel. You may notice that the “Rapture” is placed after Daniel’s Week, but before the bowls of wrath, we will discuss this in a bit. However, the return of Jesus isn’t the last day for mankind. That happens later. Jesus’ return signifies the beginning of the 1000-year reign.

  1. End of the World

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:7-10 AKJV)

After Jesus returns, He will rule and reign for 1000 years. After 1000 years, Satan shall be loosed upon the Earth once more “for a little while.” Jesus said He would return “soon” so God’s idea of “a little while” and ours varies greatly. I believe it will be 6000:

  1. God created Adam who lived for 1000 with God before Satan tempted Eve.

  2. Man has lived on the Earth tempted by Satan for 6000 years.

Once again Satan will tempt mankind and they will rebel against God, surrounding Jerusalem. Gog is an unknown people, and Magog is their land. This means whatever countries are established, many will join with Satan and rebel against Jesus.

The end is prophesied: God reigns fire down upon the Earth and kills those coming against His Son bringing about a “new Heaven and Earth.” This is the last day of mankind upon the Earth as we know it.

And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15 AKJV)

The Earth and the atmosphere around it are toast: burned with fire. Now all those who died will have a final judgment. The “sea” refers to Heaven. Those who reside in the spirit realm are not immune from this final judgment, except for a chosen few (See the Churches of Revelation). If your name is not in the Book of Life you will experience eternal agony along with Satan and his crew. For those who remain true to Jesus, this is a glorious day!

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:1-4 AKJV)

This is when there shall be no more curses, no more pain, and no more death: After the final day of life as we know it on this Earth. There is one more “final day” that may be what is being asked…

  1. Rapture

Then we, the living ones who remain [on the Earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord! (1 Thessalonians 4:17 AMPC)

The English word “Rapture” is derived from the Latin verb rapio, meaning “to carry off,” or “to catch up.” This is why the event of the sudden departure is referred to as both the “Rapture” and the “catching away of the saints.”

In a previous video, we have covered where it is mentioned in the Bible - even by Jesus. I will not go into details about the seals and trumpets, those are messages in and of themselves or another day. I will say that I know the last trumpet is also the Rapture and I believe the events of Revelation will most likely occur in this general placement.

This puts the Rapture at the end of the seven year period known as Daniel’s Week or at the seventh trumpet, where ever that lands. There are items necessary for that week to begin that may show us how close we are to the beginning of Daniel’s Week:

  1. The Temple

  2. A Red Heifer

The Temple

In the video “Daniel’s Week” it is proven that the final weeks described in the Book of Daniel will resume when the Temple is under construction. Two factors must be resolved for the Temple to be built:

  1. Permission to build on Temple Mount

  2. A red heifer must be sacrificed

To see how close we are to the Rapture, let’s look at these two items.

  1. Building the Temple

Right now, one of Islam’s most holy mosques resides on Temple Mount where you can see the golden dome of the building. Israel would have to have permission to build the Temple there if they choose to use that particular place for the Third Temple. There is a president for the mountain top to be shared with Israel.

The Abraham Accords paved the way for an Abrahamic House to be built in 2023. It is an interfaith complex on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi that has a mosque, a Catholic Church, and a synagogue built on the same site. If the Abrahamic House design is approved by the Muslim community of Jerusalem who has managed the site of the mount since Israel was founded, then a Third Temple could be built. The estimates run anywhere from a few months to seven years. Once the foundation is laid, Daniel’s Week would begin. Israel has all the items for the Temple already made, but they must be consecrated, along with the new building.

  1. Red Heifer

And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the ritual of the law which the Lord has commanded: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no blemish, upon which a yoke has never come.” (Numbers 19:1-2 AMPC)

All the sacred items of the Temple and the building itself must be consecrated with the blood and ashes of a red heifer. For the first time, Israel has two perfect red heifers. In November of 2021, a Texas cattle rancher raised a pair of heifers that are completely kosher and meet all the regulations for the red heifer mentioned in Numbers.

According to Jewish law, they must be sacrificed between their third and fourth year. November 1, 2024 they will be three years old. This means they must be sacrificed before the end of November 2025.

The ashes of the heifer can be used for 100 years. Daniel’s Week would begin as soon as permission was received to build the Third Temple. Then it would be a little over seven years before the Rapture which some Christians see as the last day.

Will Daniel’s Week Begin Next Year?

There are several signs that point to next year being very significant concerning Israel:

  • The Red Heifers are available from Nov. 2024-Nov. 2025.

  • A blood moon will occur on the Fast of Esther, March 13, 2025

    • In 2001, God sent the number 313 in a miraculous way so that my husband wouldn’t “miss” what He was doing.

    • The Fast of Esther is a foreshadow of the two witnesses.

  • A second blood moon will occur on the Fast of Esther in 2026

I believe that this is heralding the emergence of the two witnesses somewhere in between those two blood moons Since the heifer has to be sacrificed during the first eight months of that time, it seems that is a likely time for the Temple to be built. There is a very slim possibility that building the Temple could wait for almost four years. To understand that time limit, we would need to investigate the seals and trumpets which is another meeting altogether.

How Should You Prepare?

The Lord said that many of you would want to know how to prepare for the season that could very well start in the next year.

And since we have [such] a great and wonderful and noble Priest [Who rules] over the house of God, Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water.
So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.
For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look forward]. [There is nothing left for us then] but a kind of awful and fearful prospect and expectation of divine judgment and the fury of burning wrath and indignation which will consume those who put themselves in opposition [to God]. (Hebrews 10:21-27 AMPC)

It is time for the Body of Christ to draw close to their Lord. We need to let go of sin that this world tells us is “just the way it is.” We need to be willing to learn the ways of our new Kingdom and do them.

As the AntiChrist gains power, Christian who refuse to partake in sin will be mocked, even persecuted. There will be famine and war. We need to learn how to hear from our Lord and clear any obstacles that may hinder Him from moving through us. Our focus must be on Jesus.

  • He can supernaturally supply for all our needs.

    • One meal can feed thousands

  • Like Philip, God can supernaturally translocate us when necessary.

Above all else, when we are close to Him, His peace will keep us from fearing what is coming. He will tell you where to be and when to be there!
